Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using Kegio. They set out what Kegio is, what it is not, and the rights you have as a customer.
Last Updated: 22 August 2026Important — read this first
Kegio is a general fitness and wellbeing app. It is not a medical device, it does not provide medical advice, and it cannot diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition — including erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, urinary incontinence, prostate conditions or pelvic pain. Always speak to a doctor, physiotherapist or other qualified healthcare professional before starting this or any exercise programme, and before making any decision about your health or any treatment you are receiving. Stop exercising and seek medical advice immediately if you experience pain, blood in your urine or semen, a sudden change in your ability to urinate, worsening symptoms, dizziness, or any other symptom that concerns you. By using Kegio you confirm that you understand this and that you exercise at your own risk.
1. About these terms and about us
Kegio (the “App”) is provided by KYNX LABS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17111265, whose registered office is at 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, United Kingdom, EC2A 4NE. You can contact us at support@kegio-pro.com. These Terms and Conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and us. They govern your use of the App and this website, any account you create, and any subscription or purchase you make. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal and health information and forms part of these terms. By downloading, installing, accessing or using Kegio, you confirm that you accept these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Kegio. We recommend you save or print a copy for your records.
2. Who can use Kegio
You must be 18 or over to use Kegio. The App is currently designed for adult men and deals with adult sexual and urological health topics. By using it you confirm you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will close their account and delete their data. You should not begin the programme without first getting advice from a healthcare professional if any of the following apply: recent pelvic, prostate, abdominal, hernia or urological surgery; a urinary catheter, pelvic implant, mesh or stent; a diagnosis of chronic pelvic pain syndrome, prostatitis, pudendal neuralgia or an over-active (hypertonic) pelvic floor; treatment for prostate or other pelvic cancer; a hernia or unexplained lump, pain or swelling in the groin or abdomen; a neurological condition affecting bladder, bowel or sexual function; uncontrolled high blood pressure or a cardiovascular condition affected by exertion. The lifestyle challenges also carry their own cautions. Do not follow the fasting challenges if you have diabetes, an eating-disorder history, are underweight, or take medication that must be taken with food. If you drink heavily, do not stop alcohol suddenly without speaking to your GP, as withdrawal can be dangerous. This list is not exhaustive — if in doubt, ask a doctor.
3. Your account
Some features require an account. You agree to give accurate information and keep it up to date, to keep your login details confidential, and to take responsibility for activity under your account. You may hold one account, and you must not use anyone else's. Because Kegio holds sensitive health information about you, we strongly recommend you also protect your device with a passcode, Face ID or fingerprint lock. You can delete your account at any time from within the App (You → Account → Delete account), or by emailing support@kegio-pro.com. Deleting your account permanently removes your training history, self-assessment scores and other personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. It does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play — you must cancel that separately. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, if we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful use, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.
4. Health, safety and the limits of what Kegio is
Kegio provides general information, exercise instructions, timers, habit prompts and progress tracking. It is a wellbeing and fitness product. It is not a medical device, has not been assessed or approved as one by the MHRA, the FDA or any other regulator, and does not connect to Apple Health, Google Health Connect or any medical or diagnostic equipment. Nothing in the App creates a clinical relationship between you and us. The content is general, not personal to you. It is not tailored to your medical history, medication, injuries or symptoms, and it is not reviewed by a clinician who knows you. Where the App refers to published research or clinical guidance, that is for information and transparency only — it does not mean Kegio has been clinically validated or that you will get the outcomes described in that research. We do not promise or guarantee any particular result. Any timescales in the App describe how the programme is structured, not a prediction about your body. You are responsible for judging whether an exercise, difficulty mode or challenge is safe for you on any given day. Start at the Easy mode if you are new. The higher modes, including Extreme, are optional and intended only for experienced users without symptoms. Stop immediately if you feel pain, cramping, dizziness, breathlessness or numbness, and get medical advice before continuing. Over-training the pelvic floor can cause or worsen problems, including pelvic pain and an over-tight pelvic floor — more is not better. Any self-assessment scores, self-check exercises, progress trends or charts the App generates are self-reported estimates for your own reference only. They are not clinical measurements, are not diagnostic, and have not been validated against any clinical standard. Kegio is not an emergency service and is not monitored. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 999, 112 or your local emergency number, or go to your nearest emergency department.
5. Your licence to use Kegio
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use one copy of the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. We do not sell the App to you — we remain its owner and all rights not expressly granted are reserved. You must not copy, modify, adapt or create derivative works from the App or its content except as permitted by law; reverse engineer or decompile it, except where that cannot lawfully be prohibited; rent, lease, sell, sub-licence or otherwise make it available to others; remove any proprietary notice; use it on a jailbroken or rooted device or bypass any paywall or licence check; use it unlawfully or fraudulently; introduce malicious code or attempt unauthorised access; or scrape, data-mine or use its content to train a machine-learning model without our written permission. You must not reproduce or commercially exploit the exercise library, level structure, programme design, progression rules or educational content — whether as a competing product, a training course, a printed plan or otherwise.
6. Subscriptions, purchases and payment
Parts of Kegio are free. Kegio Premium requires payment and unlocks the full training experience, including the complete Kegel programme, the training routines, the full article library and Discreet Mode. The features included in your Premium subscription are described in the app and in the app store listing at the time you buy. We currently offer a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, and a one-off lifetime unlock. The exact price, billing period and any offer available to you are shown before you buy and confirmed by the app store at the point of payment. Prices vary by country and include VAT or local sales tax where applicable. All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), not by us. You are billed by the app store using the payment method registered to your store account, under that store's terms. We never see or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price and continue until you cancel. Your account is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not end the period you have already paid for — you keep Premium access until it expires. We currently offer a 7-day free trial on new subscriptions. Eligibility is decided by the app store and is normally limited to one per account. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid subscription at the price shown when you signed up, and you will be charged. Your trial end date is shown in the app, and the app store may notify you in line with its own policies. Cancelling before the trial ends is your responsibility. If you buy a subscription during a trial, any unused part of the trial is forfeited. The lifetime unlock is a one-off purchase, not a subscription, and does not renew. “Lifetime” means for as long as we continue to make Kegio and the relevant features available. It does not oblige us to operate the App indefinitely and does not automatically include separately-priced features we may launch later. We may change our prices. A change never affects a purchase already made or the billing period you are currently in. For subscriptions we will give reasonable notice in the way the app store requires, and where the store requires your consent to a new price, your subscription will not renew at that price unless you agree.
7. Cancelling, refunds and your statutory rights
Cancel through your app store, not by deleting the App or your account. On iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Kegio → Cancel Subscription. On Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Kegio → Cancel. Deleting the App or your Kegio account does not cancel billing. If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, you normally have 14 days from purchase to cancel a contract for digital content and get a refund, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 or equivalent local law. That right is lost only where you have given express prior consent to immediate supply and expressly acknowledged that you will lose it. Because Apple and Google are the sellers, that right and any waiver of it operate between you and the app store under the store's terms. We do not ask you to waive it and we do not treat your use of Premium as a waiver. Refunds are handled by the app store, not by us — we cannot process, approve or refuse one. Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Google: the Google Play refund page or your order history. None of this affects your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement or a price reduction. Contact us at support@kegio-pro.com and we will help you and, where appropriate, support your claim with the app store.
8. The training programme and how progress works
Kegio presents a structured programme built from levels, phases, training tracks, difficulty modes and lifestyle challenges. Sessions are counted and levels unlock automatically once the App's completion criteria are met. Progression rules — the number of sessions needed, minimum rest days, completion thresholds, skill tests and any automatic easing after a long break — are part of the App's design. We may adjust them where there is a good reason: to improve the programme, to reflect updated guidance, or for technical or safety reasons. Adjustments may change your current level, counters or streak. We will never adjust them so as to take away Premium content you have already paid for. Streaks, badges and celebrations exist to support motivation. They have no monetary value, cannot be transferred or redeemed, and may be changed, reset or withdrawn at any time. Losing a streak or badge — for any reason, including a technical fault — does not entitle you to compensation or a refund. Progress data can be lost through device failure, loss or replacement of a device, uninstalling the App, deleting your account, a sync error or a technical fault. We take reasonable care but cannot guarantee your training history will always be preserved or recoverable. If you enable them, Kegio may send push notifications and reminders. You can turn these off in the App or in your device settings. We may still send essential service messages about your account, your purchases or these terms.
9. Content and intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in Kegio and its content — the exercise library and descriptions, level structure, phase design, progression and level-up rules, difficulty multipliers, challenge set, educational explanations, text, graphics, animations, audio, video, interface, design, and the Kegio name and logo — belong to us or our licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Kegio may reference or link to third-party content, including videos and clinical or educational resources published by others. That content belongs to its owners, is provided for reference only, and is subject to the owner's own terms. A reference or link is not an endorsement in either direction. You keep ownership of the information you enter, such as self-assessment scores, notes and settings. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transmit and process it solely to operate Kegio and provide the service to you, and to do the things described in our Privacy Policy. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must retain data for a legal reason. Other than to provide Kegio to you as described in our Privacy Policy, we only use your content in aggregated and anonymised form to understand how the App is used and improve it. If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, we may use them freely without obligation, payment or credit. Please do not send us anything you consider confidential.
10. Availability, changes and withdrawal
We aim to keep Kegio available and working, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Access may be interrupted by maintenance, updates, technical faults, or problems with your device, network, an app store or a third-party service. We may change, add to or remove features to improve Kegio, to reflect changes in law, or for security or technical reasons. Where a change materially reduces the Premium features you are paying for, we will give reasonable notice and, if you subscribe, you may cancel and — where fair — receive a pro-rata refund for the unused part of your current billing period. We may stop providing Kegio. If we do, we will give at least 30 days' notice where practicable, cancel future subscription billing, and give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data. If you hold a lifetime unlock or have paid in advance beyond the closure date, we will refund a fair proportion of what you have paid, taking into account how long you have had access. You are responsible for your device, your internet connection and any data charges. We support recent versions of iOS and Android; older versions may stop working over time.
11. Ending this agreement
You can end this agreement at any time by cancelling any subscription, deleting your account and removing the App from your devices. We may end it and close your account if you materially breach these terms and, where the breach can be put right, you do not do so within 14 days of us asking. We may act immediately where the breach cannot be put right, involves fraud or unlawful activity, or where we must act to protect other users or comply with law. When this agreement ends, your licence to use Kegio ends and you must stop using it. Sections that by their nature should survive continue to apply, and ending the agreement does not affect rights or liabilities that have already arisen. If we close your account because of fraud or a serious or deliberate breach, you are not entitled to a refund of amounts already paid. For any other breach, we will refund a fair proportion of what you have paid for access you can no longer use.
12. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and, in the EU, the mandatory law of the country where you live. If defective digital content we supplied damages a device or other digital content of yours, and this was caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or pay you compensation. We are not liable for damage you could have avoided by following our advice or by correctly installing a free update we offered. Subject to the above, we are not responsible for: health outcomes to the extent caused by your not following the health warnings in these terms or the guidance in the App, or by your not obtaining the medical advice section 2 says you should; decisions you make about your health, including any decision to delay, avoid, stop or change medical treatment; loss of profit, business, business opportunity or business interruption; loss or corruption of training history beyond what is described above; anything caused by an event outside our reasonable control; or the acts and content of third parties, including app stores, payment providers, device manufacturers and the owners of linked content. Subject to the above, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with these terms or the App, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, is limited to the greater of the total amount you paid us or through an app store in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and £250. That cap does not apply to, and does not limit, your remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — including repair, replacement, price reduction or refund where digital content is faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality, and your right to compensation under section 46 of that Act for damage to your device. Kegio is supplied for domestic and private use. If you use it for any commercial or professional purpose, including training clients or patients, we have no liability to you for loss of profit, business, business interruption or business opportunity, and you agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from that use.
13. App store terms
Your use of Kegio is also subject to the terms of the app store you downloaded it from. If those terms conflict with these in relation to your relationship with the store, the store's terms prevail as between you and the store. If you downloaded Kegio from the Apple App Store: these terms are between you and us only, not Apple, and we alone are responsible for the App and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights, fails to conform to legal requirements, or gives rise to product liability or consumer protection claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and are not on any US Government prohibited-parties list. If you downloaded Kegio from Google Play, these terms are between you and us only. Google is not a party, is not responsible for the App, and has no liability to you in connection with it.
14. Complaints, disputes and governing law
If something has gone wrong, please contact us at support@kegio-pro.com. We aim to acknowledge every complaint within 5 working days and resolve it within 30 days. Most issues are resolved this way. Complaints about your personal data are handled under our Privacy Policy. These terms and any dispute arising out of them, including non-contractual disputes, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland, Northern Ireland, the EU or elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. We may only bring proceedings against you in the courts of the country where you live. If we cannot resolve a complaint between us, you may be able to refer it to an alternative dispute resolution service. Using ADR is optional and does not affect your right to go to court.
15. Other important terms
We may update these terms where there is a valid reason — to reflect a change to Kegio or to our business, to comply with the law or a regulator, or for security or technical reasons. We will not change them so as to materially reduce what you have already paid for. We will post the updated version and update the date at the top. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will give reasonable notice — normally at least 14 days — by in-app notice, push notification or email before it takes effect. If you do not accept a change, you may end this agreement by deleting your account and cancelling any subscription before it takes effect. If you have paid in advance for a period extending beyond that date, or hold a lifetime unlock and the change materially and adversely affects what you bought, we will refund a fair proportion. Continuing to use Kegio after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation, for example if our business is sold. We will tell you and it will not affect your rights. You may not transfer yours without our written consent. If a court finds any part of these terms unlawful or unenforceable, the rest remains in force. If we delay enforcing any part, or do not enforce it once, that does not prevent us enforcing it later. Except for Apple as described above, no one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about Kegio.
